Location and surrounding

Being so close to Puszcza Niepołomicka (Niepołomice Forest), with water and meadows, guarantees your peace and quiet, so much wanted nowadays. No wonder that the Route of Stork Nests runs nearby as well as many cycling and walking routes. Moreover, a recreation complex with golf-links is planned on the opposite side of the lake.

Apart from recreational and scenic advantages, Zabierzów Bocheński offers “practical” qualities, such as a health centre, nursery and primary schools as well as a lower secondary school (Gimnazjum), shops, a post-office, a library and a beautiful 19th century church.

Many more useful services are offered in nearby Niepołomice , with its picturesque, historical main square – the site of the Royal Castle that served the monarchs as a luxury summer residence.

When you drive from Niepołomice to Szczurowa along route number 964, you can reach the "Zacisze-Dom nad wodą" housing estate in two ways.

1. Via Zabierzów Bocheński - in the center of the village, just by the shops, turn right and go straight on for about 2 km until you reach the road, from which there is a direct access to the housing estate.
2. In Wola Batorska take the right turn, following the signpost "Droga Królewska". Go straight ahead until you reach the crossroads just by the Niepołomice forest. At the crossroads, turn left and after about 1 km on the right side of the road you will see the "Zacisze-Dom nad wodą" housing estate.

By motorway A4 (direction Kraków - Rzeszów), take the new exit for Szarów and follow the Kraków-Północ and Niepołomice road (route nr 75). After a few kilometres you will get to Niepołomice, where you take a right turn, following a "Droga Królewska" sign. This road takes your through Niepołomice Forest and after about 10 kilometres you will get to Zabierzów Bocheński by a forester's house. After just 1 kilometer on the main road you will reach "Zacisze - Dom nad wodą" housing estate, situated on the right.
